Bowen Technique:
The Bowen Technique is a dynamic system of muscle and connective
tissue therapy. Bowen is safe to use on anyone from neonates
to the aged and produces lasting relief from pain and discomfort.
Bowen therapy balances the body to allow it to heal itself.
The technique consists of a series of precise moves on specific
points of the body. These moves are light and allow for positive
moves that initiate a positive energy flow. The Bowen Technique
allows the body to heal itself with minimal intervention in
contrast to other hands-on disciplines.
Intravenous Therapies
Vitamins and minerals are basic to human metabolism and many
deficiency syndromes can be effectively resolved with parenteral
injections or IV treatments, especially if there are oral
absorption problems.
It is not always necessary to resort to the "parenteral"
(intravenous or intramuscular) routes of administration, and
we do not do this unless it is necessary. Many diseases can
be handled by large oral doses of vitamins and minerals, but
when this is not effective, parenteral administration provides
a real benefit.
Orthotics:
The slightest misalignment of your foot's muscles and bones
may cause many different problems and a great deal of discomfort,
but properly fitted prescription orthotics restore the balance
and alignment of your body, bringing relief from pain.
Prescription orthotics are medical tools that are made to
correct your specific foot imbalance. They fit comfortably
in shoes, and are always made from custom precise impressions
taken of your feet, so your feet rest comfortably. Your feet
are gently and consistently forced into the correct function.
By performing a full exam, our naturopathic doctors can determine
whether you would benefit from prescription custom orthotics.
Naturopathic Elements is in partnership with THE ORTHOTIC
GROUP, providing you with high quality custom designed orthotics.
Please check your individual extended health care plans.
Orthotics are not covered by OHIP, many private insurance
companies provide full or partial coverage.
