Lactobacillus Sporogenes + by Cyto-Matrix

Each capsule contains: 100mg Lactobacillus sporogenes (1.5 billion CFU's), and 300mg Glutamine.

This novel probotic was first isolated and discovered in 1933. Lactobacillus sporogenes is homeostatic soil based organism which has gram-positive, lactic-acid producing and spore-forming characteristics.

Glutamine found in Lactobacillus sporogenes is the main fuel for the enterocytes which help maintain a healthy mucosal barrier in the small intestines. Lactobacillus sporogenes combines a clinically effective and room temperature stable probiotics with the amino acid Glutamine to create a formula which maintains overall gut integrity.

Lactobacillus sporogenes are naturally encapsulated, rendering each spore impervious to stomach acid and the digestive process. These micro-organisms are therefore able to move through the stomach and intestinal tract, where they form colonies and continue their metabolic activities along the intestinal wall.

After multiplying in the intestines, these organisms quickly begin to produce L (+) lactic acid and bacteriocins. This process renders a non-friendly environment to absorb nutrients and reestablish proper terrain and pH.

Lactic acid: Lactic acid producing bacteria produce two forms of lactic acid. D (-) lactic acid is produced by acidophilus strains and is not completely metabolized in the body creating a potential for metabolic acidosis. Lactobacillus sporogenes produces only L (+) lactic acid which is completely metabolized in the body.

Safety: Lactobacillus sporogenes is a safe and effective probotic that has shown marked improvements in conditions ranging from gastrointestinal disorders to hypercholesterolemia and non-specific vaginitis.
