Elias Markou graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine as an ND. Elias Markou holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto with majors in Physiology and Public Policy. He has also completed a diploma in Registered Holistic Nutrition (RHN) and a Diploma in Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.) from the Canadian College of Holistic Health. He is a part-time instructor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, teaching business.

Elias has special interests in the Emergency services where he was a dedicated firefighter for the Halton Hills Fire Department for 5 years. Currently Elias is serving as the Halton Hills Fire Department physician, and is a consultant for other local fire departments. Elias combines his enthusiasm for the Emergency Services and knowledge of health and wellness to get people back to optimal health.

He has been featured on City TV's health program The Perfect Fit and CTV's national television program Balance. In addition, Elias is a regular alternative health care expert on City TV's, CityPulse News.

In addition to providing allergy testing, acupuncture and facilitating environmental detoxification, Elias' specialized training allows him to administer Bowen Therapy and Mind Body Medicine. Most recently he has been certified to perform facial cosmetic acupuncture - an anti-aging therapy.

Elias Markou is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors(OAND); the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy.
